Re: Long Time Listener, First Time Caller
Mon, December 1, 2003 - 10:50 PMhmm. He was in the same band (Bastard) as Brian James who later joined the Damned. Motello and Plastic Bertrand wrote the song "Ca Plane Pour Moi" where he took the musical track and added English lyrics to get "Jet Boy Jet Girl". I guess James and Captain Sensible played the song in their band then brought it back to the band. Anyway, both are great songs with an interesting history.

Re: Long Time Listener, First Time Caller
Wed, January 21, 2004 - 5:00 PMsounds like a great CD....very thematic.
though, to go along with the Liz Phair song, you should have included Pansy Division's cover of her song "Flower"....or maybe their cover of "Jac U Off" by Prince.
I don't know.....just thinking out loud... -
